We decided to make this day a rest day. We slept in until around 9:30 and took our time getting ready for the day. We arrived at Magic Kingdom around noon, ready for lunch. Ken hadn’t had his traditional turkey leg yet, so that was his lunch. I had a burger from Pecos Bills. With all the “fixin’s” from the toppings bar, I really enjoyed my burger. There was a lot of construction going on for the new Fantasyland expansion. I can’t wait to see all the new stuff they are putting in.

We rode a few rides again before it was time to leave for dinner. (Ken beat me at Buzz this time – my streak is over!) We were eating at the Wilderness Lodge, so we were going to take one of the boats. Right about the time we got to the dock, it started pouring. Luckily, the area had a little roof to stand under. The boat ride was a little wet, but we made it okay.
We arrived about an hour early for our reservation so we wandered around the hotel. After looking through the shop and rocking in the rocking chairs, it was time to eat at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. We both got the all-you-care-to-eat skillet meal and neither of us were incredibly impressed. However, they also bottomless milkshakes that were fantastic. Ken got bread pudding for dessert, which he loved. I don’t know what was in it, but there was some spice in it that made me shiver and shake my head. I felt like a little kid who just tried spinach for the first time. We couldn’t stop laughing about it.

After dinner, we headed back to Magic Kingdom. We grabbed some Dole Whip and got a good spot to watch the Main Street Electrical Parade.
On our way out, we got to ride on the “Avengerail!”
